About Frankie's Brooklyn Pizza

Brooklyn Inspired / Sourdough Crust - in the heart of LIC.

Located at 2-47 50th Ave, Long Island City, NY 11101, Frankie's Brooklyn Pizza operates as a pizza restaurant serving Long Island City in New York. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Pizza places in the United States run from a counter with two stools and a stack of boxes to a full sit-down pizzeria with a bar, and most neighborhood shops do all three things at once: dine-in, takeout and delivery. Ordering by phone is still common and often faster than an app, and many independents charge less when you call direct because there is no platform fee. Sizes are usually listed in inches (a small around 10", a large 14", an extra-large 16" or more), and a large feeds two to three adults. Slices are sold from a display case at New York-style counters and reheated to order; whole pies take 15-25 minutes at a busy shop. Most spots take cards and mobile pay, though a few older pizzerias remain cash-only, so check the door or the listing before you order.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. The most common schedule is 11 am–10 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Frankie's Brooklyn Pizza at (917) 999-6464; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is frankiesbrooklynpizza.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Customers rate it 4.3 out of 5 on Google across 139 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded pizza restaurants in Long Island City.

Long Island City is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Long Island City is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Best pizza in Long Island City!! Go here for an authentic NY slice. Always fresh and piping hot. My favorite is the supreme slice but you can’t go wrong with anything here!

This is THE pizza place in LIC. Sourdough crust is baked to perfection and oh so dippable when you get there on a slice. Cheese quality is stellar (and not just the mozz - you have to try the quattro formaggi slice). Sauce has a distinct sweetness that tops off a well earned stripe in the pantheon of my personal favorite pizza joints in the city (and I review a lot of pizza). Management and staff work hard (shout-out Tom) to provide Frankie's with that neighborhood feel that is critical in this area. It's 100% worth a stop.

Truly spectacular, classic pizza spot. You can tell they use high quality flour (it’s all sourdough!) so you can eat as much as you want - and trust me, you’ll want to eat a lot - and it doesn’t sit in your stomach like a brick. They’ve mastered the classic cheese and pepperoni, but don’t miss their speciality pizzas like the marinara & garlic/burrata. The staff is amazing and welcoming. I can see this easily becoming one of the best pizza joints in NYC!!!

The place is spacious and very clean. Customer service is impeccable! Ill return just for the exceptional service but the pizza is one of the best in the neighborhood for sure. Very fresh and flavorful ingredients in every bite! Buffalo chicken slice & a pepperoni slice with a can of coke zero, beautiful under carriage and fluffy crust, every bit was savored. Davina slice and the 4 cheese slice were interesting, they weren't mine but smelled amazing! Will be going back very soon!

Great addition to the neighborhood. I was looking for a good pizza shop near by and Frankies popped up at the right time. The pizza is large New York style. There are red sauce and white sauce options and you can buy them in slices. My favorite is the red sauce with pepperoni and sausage. The pie is thin and light but it holds up well with all the toppings. The dough is a little chewy and the crust is puffy, similar to a sourdough bread. The sauce feels like it was made fresh with tomatoes. There's a good amount of cheese on the pie. The pepperoni has a good chewy texture, I wish the pies would be covered in it. Sausage crumbs are well seasoned. They are made quickly once you order, usually takes about 15-20mins. You can call in for pick up orders. The space is nice and clean with casual seatings. The shop is still working to add the final touches to the space.
